G has designed five feature films and art directed commercials, music videos, films and high end tv series. With a background in art, sculpture, architecture and natural landscape scenery her work is deeply rooted in a unique combination of organic and conceptual design.

She earned a BA (Hons) in Interior Architecture in 2009, with a visionary final project: a futuristic building that cures depression by transferring energy through flowers — a concept she continues to develop today and is currently writing a script for. Ten years or so after her degree and a career change or two, G returned to her lifelong dream of storytelling through film. Her design practice is defined by a naturalistic understanding of visual storytelling, honed through years of working at the intersection of landscape design and architectural design. G is particularly drawn to surrealism, fantastical realism, science fiction, dark comedies, and conceptual environments.

Whilst the big budgets are great, G also thrives with micro budgets and embraces the challenge of making the impossible possible. Priding herself on excellent management skills and keeping creative and calm under pressure, G ensures the art department is run collaboratively, respectfully and efficiently.

Recent roles include:

• Production Designer for a thriller feature film set in Hastings, Rolling Blackouts.

• Production Designer for a modern day feature film set in Yorkshire, Hot Flash.

• Production Designer for a Christmas feature film set in Chester Zoo, Christmas at Foxglove Zoo.

• Production Designer for a sci-fi horror feature film, set in America and filmed near Bristol, From Beyond.

• Production Designer for an Abba themed zombie comedy / horror feature film filmed in The Midlands, Bjorn of the Dead.

• Art Director for a Christmas Holidays commercial for an American client filmed in London, Sephora.

• Art Director for a modern day feature film at Pinewood Studios, The Awakening.

• Art Director for a 6 Part HETV Series written by Steven Knight, This Town.

• Standby Art Director for a BFI / Ffilm Cymru funded 90’s sci-fi feature film shot in South Wales, Out There.
